Medical City Dallas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm-7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with care teams, and advocate for patients while following established nursing models.

Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, education for patients and families, and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associates degree acceptable; Bachelor's must be earned within 24 months of hire.
• Current RN license in TX or compact license.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience in last 3 years.
• Ortho experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care within scope of practice.
• Assess health data and plan individualized nursing care.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Provide teaching to patients and families on health promotion.
• Support multiple patients through direct care or delegation.
• Evaluate patient responses and outcomes to interventions.
• Apply critical thinking to clinical data and current literature for decisions.
