Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and advance through mentorship, education, and certification support.

You will assess, plan, and implement patient care, administer medications, educate families, and document thoroughly to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Associate's Degree acceptable; Bachelor's required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• 1 year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt, empathetic responses to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps.
