Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure excellent outcomes.

Emphasis on compassion, advocacy, and adherence to nursing standards. Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and during shifts, administering medications, documenting care, educating families, and promptly addressing patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• TX or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• 1 year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift; report changes.
• Administer medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up.
