Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and advocate for patients in line with state requirements and nursing standards.

Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and during shifts, administering medications, documenting care, educating patients and families, and supporting care plans.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Associate's Degree okay to start, Bachelor’s Degree required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• 1 year acute care experience in area/unit highly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and proactively addressing needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the medical condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring understanding.
