Job summary

107 The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Union - Nursing Float Pool, with 24 hours per week. Shifts are 2 x 12 hours (7p-7a) and every other weekend, with float to Atrium Health Union, Union West, and Anson as needed.

Candidates must graduate from an approved nursing program, hold an active RN license (multi-state or single-state with privileges), and maintain BLS certification. Prior clinical RN experience is typical for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with multi-state privileges.
• BLS certification required; telehealth licensing may apply.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to Atrium Health Union, Union West and Anson as needed.
