Job summary

Atrium Health Union - Nursing Float Pool is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support 2 x 12-hour shifts per week, 7p–7a, with every other weekend availability. You may float to Atrium Health Union, Union West and Anson.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice where RN provides services.
Licensure in the state(s) where care is provided; telehealth requires locational licensure.

Responsibilities

Engage in councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, mobilize resources, and collaborate with the care team.
Uphold a culture of safety and continuously evaluate outcomes.
May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
Communicate effectively and support team collaboration and delegation.
Pursue professional development and maintain required certifications.
Adhere to ANA Code of Ethics and ensure patient-centered, unbiased care.
Appropriate delegation to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed personnel.
Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
May float to other units within the service area as needed.
