Job summary

Atrium Health in Matthews, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Float Pool to provide flexible, patient-centered care across units. You will work 12-hour shifts on either days (7:00am–7:30pm) or nights (7:00pm–7:30am), with rotating weekends and holidays. Full‑time and part‑time options are available.

Incumbents must have an RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. A BSN is preferred and you will document care in the EHR and collaborate with a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Graduated from a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) involved.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice to improve care.
• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust plans, and collaborate with the care team.
