Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Union - Nursing Float Pool in Charlotte, NC. This full-time position offers 3 x 12-hour shifts (7a-7p) with every other weekend, and requires floating to Atrium Health Union, Union West, and Anson as needed.

Responsibilities include applying evidence-based care, using the nursing process, documenting in EHR, and participating in quality initiatives. BLS and RN licensure are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges in the state(s) where care is provided.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives; applies evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans; collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
