Job summary

Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center - Nursing Float Pool is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med/Surg Float Pool. The role involves providing and coordinating patient care using the nursing process to ensure safety and quality across the continuum.

The position offers 24 hours per week, with two 12-hour shifts (7P–7A) and weekend/holiday rotations. Minimum requirements include an accredited nursing program completion, an active RN license in the state, BLS, and 6 months RN

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by American Heart Association.
• 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
