Job summary

MetroHealth seeks a PRN Registered Nurse to join the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit at the Main Campus. You will provide bedside care on a 14-bed unit with telemetry, EKG interpretation, and advanced respiratory support in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts are 7a-7p/7p-7a with rotating weekends and holidays; bi-weekly hours total 72. Ohio RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required, with PRN requiring 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit (14 beds).
• Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, OT.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and respond to clinical changes as needed.
