Job summary

MetroHealth is recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) on the Main Campus. The role involves caring for patients with complex conditions, interpreting EKGs, managing lines and airway devices, and assisting with bedside procedures in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications include Ohio RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience for PRN. The unit features 14 beds and rotating weekends and holidays with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current or obtained within specified timelines.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and assist with procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers and therapists.
