Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a dedicated RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the MetroHealth Main Campus. You will provide patient-centered care in a high-acuity setting with telemetry, central lines, and airway support, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Required Ohio RN licensure, BLS (or within 90 days), ACLS (within 6 months); PRN requires 1 year of RN experience and current certifications on hire. Ohio benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry.
• Manage central lines and airway support (BiPAP, high flow oxygen, Trach/Vents).
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, providers and therapists.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
