Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an RN Clinical Leader for a full-time night shift (7p-7a) at Med Surg Unit 1. The role leads program services, ensures quality and satisfaction, and collaborates with department leaders to manage daily operations.

Eligible for weekend and shift differential; strong budget and staffing skills are required. The position requires ACLS, BLS, an Ohio RN license, and a BSN with at least 5 years of employment in clinical settings, plus 2 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Association)
• RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio
• BSN required at 5 years of employment
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• Minimum 2 yrs. clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Performs Clinical Operation/Supervisory duties to ensure quality, services, and satisfaction to clients served.
• Serves as a direct care provider when needed, maintaining recognized standards of clinical practice and patient care.
• Coordinates the interdisciplinary team to achieve effective patient outcomes and efficient resource utilization.
• Directs and engages in treatment of patients and families to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Establishes communication channels for all customers and creates efficient staff and patient schedules.
• Participates in recruitment activities and staff development.
• Participates on hospital committees to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
• Rounds daily on patients to observe patient experience and associate satisfaction.
• Supports budget needs through cost-effective practice and resource management.
• As a High Reliability Organization, focuses on safety, quality and efficiency.
