Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Med Surg Unit 1 to provide comprehensive nursing care across the continuum. The role includes assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care in a 24/7 department and entails leadership in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensure patient safety, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while adhering to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Night shift, 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in Ohio; multi-state compact accepted
• BLS certification required
• BSN preferred or required after 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Participate in process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to revise care plans as needed.
• Provide leadership within the Med Surg Unit 1 team.
