Genesis HealthCare is seeking an MDS Coordinator - RN to ensure timely and accurate MDS assessments and care plan reviews, coordinating with nursing, dietary, social services and physicians to meet high standards of care.

Responsibilities include managing Medicare/Medicaid documentation, conducting concurrent MDS reviews for optimal RUG categories, and ensuring appropriate reimbursement across the nursing center.

Competenze

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• LPNs with MDS experience may be considered for the role.
• At least one year of long-term care nursing experience is required.

Mansioni

• Manage the Medicare/Medicaid case-mix document process for reimbursement.
• Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to achieve max allowable RUG categories.
• Integrate data from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative and physician teams to ensure proper reimbursement.
