Job summary

Genesis in West Virginia is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator RN to ensure timely and accurate MDS assessments and review of care plans to meet high standards of care in our nursing center.

You will collaborate with nursing, dietary, social services and physicians to support appropriate reimbursement, oversee Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documentation, and help maximize RUG categories while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• LPNs with MDS experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Complete MDS assessments accurately and on time.
• Review care plans and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality of care and compliance.
• Oversee Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documentation and reimbursement processes.
