Job summary

Good Samaritan Pipestone is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized as MDS Nurse to plan, direct, and evaluate nursing services in resident care plans. You will lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, assess care adequacy, and ensure plans are current for each resident.

The RN provides individualized care using the nursing process, coordinates with the team, and supports admission assessments, ongoing evaluations, and quality of life initiatives for seniors.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred.
• Affiliation with an outside professional nursing organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The MDS Nurse leads the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and coordinates care planning.
• Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high quality care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized resident care and education.
