Job summary

Life Care Center of Kennewick is seeking an MDS Coordinator (RN) to manage MDS assessments, CAAs, and care plans in compliance with CMS RAI regulations. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate documentation and timely submission.

The role requires an active RN license, 2 years of nursing experience (geriatric preferred), and CPR certification. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies this full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
RN license in good standing is required.
Two years of nursing experience; geriatric experience preferred.
CPR certification required on hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and assist with completion and submission of MDS Assessments, CCAs, and Care Plans according to CMS RAI Manual.
Report changes in a patient’s condition identified by the MDS to the DON.
Educate direct care staff on CMS RAI updates impacting documentation.
Review Interdisciplinary Comprehensive Care Plan.
