Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Morristown, TN is seeking an experienced RN MDS Coordinator to manage and submit MDS Assessments, CAAs, and Care Plans in line with CMS RAI Manual Regulations and Life Care standards.

The role requires an RN license, an associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing, at least two years of nursing experience (geriatric preferred), CPR certification, and the ability to navigate post-acute regulations with accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Associate's or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; geriatric preferred.
• CPR certification on hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and submit interdisciplinary MDS Assessments, CCAs, and Care Plans per CMS RAI Manual Regulations.
• Report changes in patient condition identified by MDS to the DON.
• Educate direct care staff on CMS RAI Manual updates and regulations.
