Job summary

Life Care Center of Seneca is hiring a Registered Nurse MDS Coordinator to manage interdisciplinary MDS Assessments, CAAs, and Care Plans in compliance with CMS RAI manual regulations.

Requires an RN license in good standing, an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing, CPR, and 2 years of nursing experience (geriatrics preferred). Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and full-time daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in good standing in the applicable state.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation and kept current.
• Two years of nursing experience; geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with completion and submission of MDS Assessments, CCAs, and Care Plans.
• Report changes in a patient’s condition identified by MDS to the DON.
• Educate direct care staff on CMS RAI Manual updates affecting documentation.
• Review Interdisciplinary Care Plan and Final Validation Reports for CMS CMS QIES accuracy.
• Attend PPS meetings and other meetings as required; perform staff nurse duties when needed.
