Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing; active RN license.
• Minimum two years nursing experience; geriatric experience preferred.
• CPR certification required within orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with completion and submission of MDS Assessments, CCAs, and Care Plans per CMS RAI Manual regulations.
• Report patient condition changes to DON based on MDS assessments.
• Educate direct care staff about CMS RAI Manual updates impacting documentation.
• Assist with review of Interdisciplinary Comprehensive Care Plan.
• Review Final Validation Reports and ensure CMS QIES submissions are ready for billing.
