Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking a CNM who will deliver high-quality patient care, supervise staff, and ensure safe, cost-conscious unit operations. This role requires current State Nursing licensure, a BSN, CPR, and strong teamwork.

You will participate in committees, mentor junior staff, manage care plans across age groups, and uphold Mercy Service Standards in partnership with medical staff and administration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in the applicable state of practice.
• Four (4) years of experience in clinical specialty or related area.
• Basic computer skills including data entry, Windows, and MS Office.
• Certifications: CPR.
• To ensure patient safety, pass a medication and math competency test before administering medications.
• BSN or enrollment in a BSN/MSN program preferred.
• Two years supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Preferred Certification: PALS.
