Position Details

Department: Coble Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation

Reports To: Director of Nursing

Shift Available: Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) 7 PM - 7 AM for part-time; may include a weekday for full-time work.

Position Summary

Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care and services to residents of Twin Lakes Community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain RN/LPN license.
• Work Saturday and Sunday from 7 PM to 7 AM; may work additional shifts during the week for full-time employment.
• Initiate and implement comprehensive nursing care; may provide care to Independent and Assisted Living residents. Respond to emergency calls as required.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician’s orders, policies, procedures, and care plans.
• Monitor, observe, and accurately record nursing care and resident responses.
• Follow infection control procedures; initiate precautions or isolation measures when appropriate and report them.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of physician’s orders; notify physicians of changes in residents’ conditions.
• Provide counseling to residents’ families and refer issues to appropriate staff.
• Complete and manage documentation related to residents’ care, including transfers between levels of care.
• Oversee and be responsible for care provided by LPNs and CNAs.
• Respond professionally and kindly to residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Protect confidentiality of employees, residents, and organization information.
• Follow safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Adhere to organizational, departmental, and nursing procedures.
• Attend scheduled conferences and in-services.
• Other duties as assigned that are consistent with this role.

Education and Experience

• Maintain RN/LPN licensing requirements.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing environment.
