Shift available:

Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) 7p-7a and one weekday shift (8 hours) for full-time.

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care and services to the residents of Twin Lakes Community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain RN/LPN license.
  2. Work Saturday and Sunday 7a-7p. May work an additional shift during the week for full-time employment.
  3. Initiate and implement comprehensive nursing care to residents; provide nursing care/services to Independent and Assisted Living residents as needed; respond to or follow up on emergency calls.
  4. Administer medications and treatments according to physician’s orders, policies, procedures, and care plans.
  5. Monitor, observe, and accurately record nursing care and residents’ responses.
  6. Follow infection control procedures; initiate precautions or isolation procedures when appropriate; report measures taken.
  7. Ensure accuracy and completeness of physician’s orders; notify physicians of changes in residents’ conditions.
  8. Provide counseling to residents’ families as needed; refer problems to appropriate staff.
  9. Complete and manage documentation related to residents’ care, including transfers between care levels.
  10. Oversee and be responsible for care provided by LPNs and CNAs.
  11. Respond politely and professionally to residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervisors.
  12. Protect confidential information concerning employees, residents, families, and the organization.
  13. Adhere to all safety, fire, disaster, and bomb threat procedures.
  14. Follow organizational, departmental, and nursing procedures.
  15. Attend scheduled conferences and in-services.
  16. Perform other duties as needed that align with the position’s responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
  • Maintain RN/LPN licensing requirements.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing environment.
