Shift Available:

Weekends (Sat. & Sun.) 7p-7a for part-time. May add a weekday for full-time work.

Position Summary

Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care and services to the residents of Twin Lakes Community.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

1. Maintain RN/LPN license.
2. Work Saturday and Sunday 7p-7a. May work an additional shift during the week for full-time employment.
3. Initiate and implement comprehensive nursing care to residents. Respond to or provide follow-up on emergency calls as required.
4. Administer medications and treatments according to physician’s orders, policies, procedures, and care plans.
5. Monitor, observe, and accurately record nursing care and residents’ responses.
6. Follow infection control procedures; initiate precautions or isolation procedures when appropriate.
7. Ensure accuracy and completeness of physician’s orders; notify physicians of changes in residents’ conditions.
8. Provide counseling to residents’ families and refer issues to appropriate staff.
9. Complete necessary documentation for residents and manage transitions between care levels.
10. Oversee care provided by LPNs and CNAs.
11. Respond professionally and kindly to residents, families, visitors, and staff.
12. Protect confidential information concerning employees, residents, families, and the organization.
13. Adhere to safety, fire, disaster, and bomb threat procedures.
14. Follow organizational, departmental, and nursing procedures.
15. Attend scheduled conferences and in-services.
16. Perform other duties as appropriate without significant alteration to job requirements.

Education And Experience

1. Maintain RN/LPN licensing requirements.
2. At least 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing environment.
