Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Lakota Campus provides individualized nursing care based on the nursing process, collaborating with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care. The role supports residents through all phases of health needs with coordination and education.

Requires an unencumbered RN license, credentialed by a state board; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with competitive benefits and a not-for-profit Christian work

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (e.g., CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• RN license in good standing with the state nursing board.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process for residents.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and interventions with the inter-disciplinary team.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff within scope of practice.
