Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver individualized nursing care using the nursing process. The role collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.

The RN coordinates care, supports resident education, and may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks while ensuring safety and adherence to nursing standards in a 12-hour night shift setting. Good Samaritan emphasizes quality care in a Christian environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice is occurring.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care and resident education across all phases of care.
• Possibly serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff while maintaining quality standards.
