Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team at St. Joseph's a Villa Center. The RN assumes responsibility for the care of a group of residents, providing licensed nursing care under physician orders and evaluating plans of care to meet each resident's needs.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse (MI).
• 1 year of experience preferred, long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed nursing care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Counts and documents medications and narcotics as part of shift responsibilities.
• Admits, transfers and discharges residents as needed to meet care plans.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness in resident areas and treatment spaces.
