Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Michigan. The RN will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care for residents, administering medications, and coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a current Michigan RN license and CPR certification, with 1 year of experience in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility standards.
• Transcribes physician orders to charts and MAR.
• Counts controlled drugs with the nurse on shift and reports discrepancies.
• Admits, transfers and discharges residents to meet needs and safety.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and treatment rooms.
• Administers medications and IV therapy as ordered within license limits.
• Documents nursing notes reflecting care and patient response.
