Job summary

Villa At the Bay is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Michigan. The RN will assume responsibility and accountability for a group of residents per shift, delivering nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, supervising nursing assistants, documenting care accurately, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required.
• State-licensed RN with active license in Michigan.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited program.
• 1 year of experience preferred, long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed nursing care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Prepare and administer medications; perform treatments per physician orders.
• Direct and supervise CNA services to ensure quality care.
• Document care and resident responses; report shift changes and issues.
• Admit, transfer, or discharge residents to meet individual needs.
• Maintain safety by addressing hazards and ensuring a clean, sanitary environment.
• Conduct and document assessments, vital signs, IV therapy per protocol.
• Communicate with team and report discrepancies in medications or narcotics.
• All other duties as assigned.
