Villa Healthcare is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to join St. Joseph's a Villa Center. The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate plans of care for residents.

Role requires providing licensed nursing care, supervising CNAs, taking vital signs, administering meds, and maintaining documentation. Candidates should hold an RN license in Michigan and a nursing degree, with CPR certification and LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards and regulations.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and resident care environments.
• Directs and supervises CNA services to ensure quality care.
• Takes and records vital signs and administers medications as ordered and documents appropriately.
• Charts nursing notes reflecting care provided and resident responses.
• Counts controlled drugs with the nurse at shift change and reports discrepancies.
• Ensures safety by addressing potential hazards and reporting concerns.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges residents to meet individual needs.
