Job summary

Intersect Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and provide comprehensive nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will assess residents, develop and follow care plans, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers to meet goals.

Responsibilities include rounds with physicians, wound and IV care, medication administration, and supervision of CNAs to ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop Care Plans and document observations.
• Make rounds with physician; monitor symptoms and adjust interventions as needed.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, and catheter care per protocol.
• Administer medications according to policies and physician orders.
• Supervise CNAs and support daily resident care activities.
• Prepare reports and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
