Job summary

Intersect Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate comprehensive nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. The RN will assess residents, develop care plans, supervise CNAs, administer medications, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include performing rounds with physicians, documenting timely reports, supporting quality improvement efforts, and participating in regulatory surveys.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions to implement intervention and develop Care Plans.
• Make rounds with physician; observe symptoms and responses; document care.
• Provide preventive, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care for residents.
• Administer medications according to policies and physician orders.
• Monitor CNAs and assist with resident care tasks as needed.
• Document in PCC and ensure medical records compliance.
• Participate in regulatory surveys and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain residents' rights and report abuse or concerns promptly.
