Job summary

Intersect Healthcare of Woodward in Detroit seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate total nursing care for residents in a long‑term care setting. The RN will assess conditions, develop care plans, perform rounds with physicians, administer medications, and ensure compliance with Michigan and federal regulations.

This role requires a current Michigan RN license and CPR certification; two years of LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state nursing regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop care plans; record observations.
• Make rounds with physician; monitor symptoms and interventions.
• Administer medications according to policies; monitor contraindications.
• Coordinate with DON, Unit Managers and other staff to ensure quality care.
• Assist CNAs with resident care and daily activities.
• Prepare reports and participate in regulatory surveys.
