Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Long Term Care setting to provide and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process. You will administer medications, develop care plans, and supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will also collaborate with physicians and families to optimize outcomes. The role requires RN licensure in the state, BLS certification, and prior LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents on admission and on an ongoing basis, and develop individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy.
• Supervise, delegate to and provide clinical direction for LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Evaluate resident response to interventions and revise the plan of care as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and support regulatory survey readiness.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapy, families and interdisciplinary team members.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
