Job summary

Intersect Healthcare of Jackson is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate high-quality nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. The nurse will work with the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers to establish goals and ensure compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, medication administration, emergency management, and guidance to CNAs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions to implement intervention and develop Care Plans.
• Regular rounds with physician; observe symptoms and intervene as needed.
• Provide preventive, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care for residents.
• Administer medications per physician orders and nursing policies.
• Monitor and assist CNAs with resident care duties and daily activities.
• Document in PCC and ensure records adhere to policies and procedures.
