Job summary

Spencer Hospital in Spencer, Iowa is seeking a PRN RN with rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends to support Labor & Delivery and Med/Surg units. The role requires a caring communicator, flexibility, multitasking ability, and comfort with technological systems.

Required: IA RN license or compact state, BLS/ACLS, NRP within 6 months of hire. Schedule includes 12-hour day/night shifts with at least 1 holiday per year and two full weekends per quarter.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg experience
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience required
• Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
• IA RN license or compact state
• BLS and ACLS are required - inhouse training available
• NRP certification required upon hire or within 6 months of hire

Job Schedule

• PRN with requirements - 1 Holiday per year & 2 full weekends per quarter or 4 weekend shifts per quarter
• Applicants with weekday/night availability preferred
• Day/Night 12 hr shifts 7-7
• The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
