Spencer Hospital in Spencer, IA is seeking an experienced RN to provide individualized nursing care for post-operative and acute care patients, using the nursing process. The rural hospital employs 500+ staff and offers competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

• Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care for post-operative and acute care patients requiring hospitalization
• Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period
• Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care
• Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients

Requirements

• Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
• IA RN license or compact state
• BLS and ACLS - inhouse certification available upon hire
• New grads encouraged to apply - Nurse Residency Program upon hire!

Schedule

• 72 hours a pay period. 12 hour shifts. Day/Night. Holidays. Weekends
• The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
