The RN House Supervisor serves as the administrative liaison when management is off-site, overseeing staffing, patient flow, crisis response, and interdepartmental coordination to maintain high-quality care.

Candidates should hold an active RN license with BLS and ACLS, and supervisory or acute care

Qualifikationen

• Current and valid RN license.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year supervisor experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years acute care nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Aufgaben

• Intervene in emergencies including codes and rapid responses.
• Monitor bed availability and coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers.
• Collaborate with ED/ICU/med-surg and ancillary services to avoid bottlenecks.
• Manage staffing based on census and acuity; coordinate float staff and per diem.
• Prepare shift reports and document incidents and safety concerns.
• Oversee operations during shifts; ensure quality care and coordination.
• Support staff, assist with urgent procedures, and orient RN staff.
