Rayhealthcare is seeking a House Supervisor RN to lead nursing operations on a shift-by-shift basis, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient bed management. The role supervises nursing staff, coordinates admissions/transfers, and serves as a liaison across departments under the Manager's direction.

The ideal candidate holds Missouri RN licensure, 3–5 years of clinical nursing with leadership experience, and current BLS/ALS/PALS; TNCC/ESI may be obtained within the first year,

Qualifications

• Must hold Missouri RN license or compact license.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience; leadership experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC and ESI may be obtained within first year.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff on a shift-by-shift basis to ensure adherence to policies and standards of care.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges to optimize patient flow and bed management.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff; provide guidance and support as needed.
• Facilitate communication among providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary departments to support high-quality care.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate actions with relevant personnel.
• Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and on-call rotations to ensure adequate coverage across shifts.
• Notify Manager or Administrator on Call of significant patient care, staffing, or operational impacts.
• Function in Medical/Surgical and/or ED as RN when staffing requires.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
