Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion RN to deliver high-quality patient care in patients' homes, primarily in West Fargo, ND, with travel to nearby areas. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized care while coordinating with physicians and the care team.

The ideal candidate has an ND RN license (or Compact), 1+ year experience in infusion/ER/ICU, and strong IV skills, plus CPR/BLS certification and a valid ND driver's license with reliable transportation.

• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• CPR and BLS certification are required.
• Current North Dakota Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation to cover travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct home health nursing care within the RN scope.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care plans.
• Facilitate start of care through admission processes.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences and safety.
• Document changes in patient condition and communicate with the team.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management and self-care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid ND Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current North Dakota Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
