Job summary

Magenta Care LLC in Minot, ND seeks an experienced home infusion RN to deliver compassionate patient care in homes across the service area. The role requires travel within a 1–2 hour radius of Minot to serve clients.

The RN will assess needs, administer infusion therapy, educate families, coordinate with physicians, and document care while upholding patient privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• ND RN license or compact license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1 year RN experience in Infusion/ER/ICU preferred.
• Excellent IV insertion and patient privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within RN scope in home settings.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to develop comprehensive plans.
• Facilitate start of care through admission processes.
• Advocate for patient rights, safety and preferences.
• Document changes promptly to team and physician.
• Deliver nursing care per standards and agency policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy and self-care.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

The primary location for this position will be in Minot, ND, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Minot to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid ND Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current North Dakota Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.
