Job summary

Magenta Care LLC seeks a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver compassionate patient care in the Jamestown, ND area. The role requires travel to client locations within a 1–2 hour radius and a commitment to patient privacy and dignity.

You will assess, plan, and implement nursing care with families, coordinate with physicians, and educate patients on infusion therapy management. Valid ND RN license and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Active ND RN license or Multistate Compact license.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills and CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid North Dakota driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Jamestown area.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to develop a care plan.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and safety.
• Document changes promptly to the team and physician.
• Provide home health nursing following policies and standards.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy and self-care.

The primary location for this position will be in Jamestown, ND, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Jamestown to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid ND Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current North Dakota Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.
