Job summary

Magenta Care LLC seeks an experienced home infusion RN to provide direct nursing care to clients in Rapid City, SD and surrounding areas. The role requires traveling to client homes within a 1–2 hour radius and delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

The RN will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and educate families on infusion therapy and safety. A valid SD RN license and current BLS/CPR are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license required in South Dakota or Multistate Compact.
• 1+ year RN experience in infusion, ER, or ICU required.
• CPR and BLS certifications are required.
• South Dakota driver’s license with proof of insurability is required.
• Reliable transportation is necessary for travel to clients’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct home infusion nursing care within scope of practice.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for care plans.
• Facilitate admission and start of care for new patients.
• Advocate for patients’ rights, safety, and preferences.
• Document changes in patient condition and communicate with team promptly.
• Teach patients and families about infusion therapy and self-care.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The primary location for this position will be in Rapid City, SD, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Rapid City to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid SD Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current South Dakota Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.
