Job summary

Magenta Care LLC in Bismarck, ND is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN who delivers exceptional patient care in the home setting. The role requires travel up to one to two hours outside Bismarck to serve clients.

You will assess, plan, and implement patient care, collaborate with physicians, educate families on infusion therapy, and advocate for patient rights while maintaining privacy and dignity. This role emphasizes strong communication and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• ND RN license or Multistate license required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• CPR and BLS certifications current.
• ND driver's license with proof of insurability and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the RN act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop a comprehensive care plan.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Advocate for patients, ensuring rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and communicate changes in condition promptly to team, Director of Clinical Services, and physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients following standards of care and agency policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management, side effects, and self-care.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

The primary location for this position will be in Bismarck, ND, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Bismarck to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid ND Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current North Dakota Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
