Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion RN to deliver high-quality patient care in Grand Forks, ND and surrounding areas. The role requires travel to clients' homes and collaboration with physicians and the care team to create comprehensive plans of care.

The RN will provide direct care, assess and adjust plans, and educate patients and families on infusion therapy management while maintaining patient privacy and dignity at all times.

Qualifications

• ND Registered Nurse license or compact license required.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• North Dakota Driver's license with proof of insurability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the home setting within RN scope.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and safety.
• Document changes in patient condition promptly to the team.

The primary location for this position will be in Grand Forks, ND, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Grand Forks to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid ND Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current North Dakota Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.
