Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion RN to provide direct patient care in home settings, delivering compassionate, privacy-focused care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient plans with families, collaborating with physicians to ensure comprehensive care.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, documentation, and education on infusion therapy and self-care, with emphasis on meeting established standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Valid ND RN license or compact RN license.
• At least 1 year RN experience (Infusion/ER/ICU).
• CPR and BLS certifications required.
• Valid North Dakota driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope.
• Continuously assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patient & family.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for care plans.
• Facilitate start of care through admissions process.
• Advocate for patient rights, safety, and privacy.
• Document changes in patient condition and communicate promptly to team.
• Provide home health nursing care per standards and agency policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management and self-care.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid ND Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current North Dakota Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
