Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in the Sandpoint area. The role requires travel up to one to two hours outside Sandpoint to serve clients, with a focus on privacy and dignity in every interaction.

You will provide direct patient care, develop comprehensive care plans with families, and educate on infusion therapy management while adhering to agency policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Idaho or multistate compact.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills and patient assessment.
• CPR/BLS certification required (Healthcare Provider).
• Current Idaho driver’s license with proof of insurability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-disciplinary team to tailor care plans.
• Facilitate start of care during admission.
• Advocate for patient rights, safety and preferences.
• Document and communicate changes to team, Director of Clinical Services, and physician.
• Deliver home health nursing following standards and agency policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy, side effects, and self-care.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

The primary location for this position will be in Sandpoint, ID, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Sandpoint to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid ID Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Idaho Driver's license with proof of insurability.
