Job summary

Magenta Care LLC seeks a dedicated Home Infusion RN to deliver high-quality patient care in the Coeur d’Alene, ID area. Travel up to 1–2 hours outside Coeur d'Alene may be required to serve clients.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, care planning with families, and collaboration with physicians to ensure tailored treatment plans. Strong IV skills and BLS/CPR are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Idaho or Multistate license (Compact).
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in infusion, ER or ICU.
• Excellent IV insertion skills and BLS/CPR certification.
• Valid Idaho driver's license with insurability and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within RN scope in home infusion.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to create a care plan.
• Facilitate start of care during admission.
• Advocate for patients, ensuring rights and safety.
• Document changes promptly to team and supervisor.
• Deliver nursing care per standards and agency policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity. The primary location for this position will be in Coeur d’Alene, ID, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Coeur d’Alene to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid ID Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Idaho Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.
