Job summary

Magenta Care LLC in Culdesac, ID seeks a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care. The role involves direct patient care, collaboration with physicians, and guiding patients and families through infusion therapy management.

You must have an active RN license, infusion/ER/ICU experience, IV insertion skills, CPR/BLS, and a valid Idaho driver's license with reliable transportation. Travel up to 1–2 hours outside Culdesac is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-disciplinary team to plan comprehensive care.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and safety.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to team and physician.
• Deliver home health nursing care following standards and agency policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management, side effects, and self-care.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity.

The primary location for this position will be in Culdesac, ID, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Culdesac to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid ID Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Idaho Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
